No matter how advanced the tech might get, the joy of reading a physical book will never cease to amaze the lovers of books-the readers.

The 16th Editon of Più Libri Più Liberi was held last December. The fair was organized in the premises ofThe New Congress Centre (also called “La Nuvola”), designed by the revered architect Massimiliano Fuksas. Given the salient location and space of this venue, publishers, readers and the lovers of paper book flocked there to explore, learn and understand. We at PQ Design Studio too grabbed the opportunity to showcase our LastWord bookmark in this event, and it was a wonderful chance to meet and get feedback from booklovers and readers.

Inspired by the problems faced by paper book readers, we designed a reading accessory that enables a reader to find mark by taking back to the exact page and line. We named it LastWord (since it literally takes you the last word you were reading), and we produced it in four different colors to meet readers’ aesthetic choices. We always wanted to craft a never-seen before bookmark that is unique both in terms of design and usability, and we came up with the idea of LastWord. With the smooth movable cursor that guides to the last word you were reading, you won’t have to bother about confusing page numbers while you keep your book fresh and anew.

LastWord, with its smooth stationery design and a unique approach to assist the readers, caught attention of professional visitors and readers in the fair. As this fair held every December first weekend, this might be the perfect event to attend in case you’re wondering what gifts to give to that bookish friend of yours for the Christmas.
