Bag for augmented reality wearable devices
Design and realisation of a backpack container for augmented reality products for Vr Media, a spin-off company of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna that designs and markets systems and solutions for Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality for large industrial groups such as ENEL, GE, FINMECCANICA, FCA.
The company decided to design a new container to carry its kit called Kiber 3 consisting of a helmet, headset and augmented reality device. This idea came from Pq design group for our industrial design services. The backpack we designed for Vr media is equipped with a series of compartments to house the product components.
The customer was looking for solutions that would not only provide a backpack container that would enhance the company’s contents and brand identity, but also a quality product. We followed the customer through all phases of design and testing up to mass production.

A project for a backpack for carrying augmented reality devices, which includes not only the design but also the production equipment and manufacturing of the finished product.
The market for augmented reality devices is growing and many start-ups are investing in this particular market sector. Market research indicates that the sector is growing at an average rate of 65% per year according to ‘Research and Markets’.
The Pq design group is very active in helping companies and/or start-ups to successfully develop augmented reality products and their accessories.
