Design of glasses with integrated thermal imaging camera
We are excited to present our recent project in the wearable sector, created for an innovative start-up.
Holoindustry in collaboration with the Asian multinational Foxconn turned to us to develop a revolutionary concept of an augmented reality viewer capable of combining light and infrared to see animals or people in the dark, look inside walls, see through smoke and more simply monitor the temperature of fluids and gases inside the pipes.
The challenge was clear, and we at PQ Design Group took it up with enthusiasm.
Through an in-depth analysis of user needs and the integration of the anthropometric data at our disposal, we have designed a cutting-edge device.
This project demonstrates how our user-centric approach and our experience in industrial design and technical development of high-tech devices can transform innovative ideas into concrete results. User-centric design has allowed us to understand the needs of end users fully. But we didn’t stop there. The biggest challenge was integrating sophisticated electronics into a comfortable device.
Through LEAN project management, we significantly reduced time to market, allowing Holoindustry and Foxconn to turn a vision into reality with a precise timeline.
The result was a functional prototype presented at CES 2024 in Los Angeles, ready to revolutionise the wearable market with a cutting-edge device.
