Innovative equipment for salons to have the right hair color at their fingertips.
Color Maker is a new industrial design of vending machine, an automatic hair dye meter designed for hair salons. The system allows hairdressers, barbers, etc. to choose the dye color through a large 15-inch touchscreen. Each color is identified by a code, and the result is extremely accurate by mixing 10 different shades of color and hydrogen peroxide. The color is automatically dispensed by the machine.
For the design of the automated dispenser, we collaborated with the client on several subject areas, providing the client with a turnkey project including industrial design, electronics and software interface design, and all drawings for mass production. The project was created for an innovative startup that will soon begin to commercialize the device in the Italian and international markets.
