Teburu | The Future of Tabletop Gaming
Design of a hybrid board game system
Xplored chose us to develop the industrial design of Teburu, their hybrid gaming system, with the goal of enhancing the brand through a distinctive aesthetic and optimal ergonomics.
This is not our first collaboration with Xplored: Teburu is in fact the second hybrid, or phygital, game project we’ve developed together. The first, Runimalz, has already proven the potential of this innovative integration between physical and digital gameplay.
In Teburu as well, our work focused on form and ergonomics, optimizing the usability of classic board game components, such as dice, redesigned to house electronics and sensors.
Teburu is an innovative system conceived and patented by Xplored, designed to revolutionize the board game world. The success of its games, first funded via crowdfunding and later distributed on shelves worldwide, confirms the enthusiasm of gamers and positions Teburu as a true game-changer in the industry, recognizing a design that amplifies both functionality and appeal.
