Wearable IoT Dog Tracker – Industrial Design for Real-World Use

Strategic product design and engineering of a pet tech device for monitoring, safety and production scalability.

We develop complex IoT devices for real-world markets, integrating industrial design, electronics and manufacturing from the earliest stages of product development.

In collaboration with Kippy, we developed an advanced wearable IoT dog tracker designed to operate in real, uncontrolled usage conditions.

The project required close integration between industrial design, mechanical engineering and design for manufacturing to ensure scalability and reliability.

Key constraints included compactness and lightweight construction, impact and water resistance (IP68 certification), a secure and intuitive attachment system for collars or harnesses, long battery life and the integration of electronic components such as GPS, LTE connectivity and activity sensors.

The design was developed to ensure comfort and stability across dogs of different sizes, using durable materials and finishes aligned with the brand identity.

The result is a device engineered for reliability and continuous use, seamlessly integrating technology, ergonomics and industrial manufacturing into a compact system.
