Warner Bros asks several design agencies to find solutions to enhance the purchase of the film on physical media (DVD). The target audience is an occasional buyer who acquires movies during holidays. Our idea was selected and launched by WB at Christmas 2018 in the Mondadori and Feltrinelli stores. It is a ready-to-mount gift pack sold in the stores along with the DVD. It is composed of a punched card with a space to write the dedication and a bow, also made in paper.
The two parts are assembled with a simple gesture following the instructions on the inside.
The gift box is made of red cardboard and silver bow. The campaign has been successfully tested on several Warner Bros movies.
