Laser diode handpiece design for medical device
Industrial design, UI/UX design and product development of a laser diode handpiece for medical treatments.
This is a recent turnkey product on the medical design field by our product design firm. It’s an handpiece design for aesthetic and medical equipment (Laser diode).
For this design consultancy we made ergonomic studies on its grip, position of its parts, weight balance, as well as on the user interface (UX/UI design).
This last is simplified thanks to an oled display and three capacitive keys that allow an easier cleaning, avoiding the damaging of the inner components.
A full project from design to mass production.
Design: Minimal and clean combined with a slightly satin finish of the plastic surface give professionalism and elegance to the medical device.
Ergonomics: the handle is made of sturdy and handy thermoplastic polymer which offers a feeling of comfort to the operators.
Maintenance: continuous lines and the absence of interstices or sharp edges make cleaning and maintenance of the device easy even with aggressive detergents such as alcohol and bleach.
Mass production: we have also made the molds on behalf of the customer at our trusted partner.
